Nail Interior Construction is seeking a skilled Commercial Framer and Drywaller – Journeyman to join our field team. This position requires hands-on experience in commercial metal stud framing, drywall installation, and interior systems. Journeymen play a critical role in executing high-quality work while supporting Foremen and mentoring Apprentices on job sites. The Journeyman is responsible for independently framing, hanging, and related ceiling installations while maintaining safety, productivity, and craftsmanship standards expected on professional commercial construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install metal stud framing systems for commercial interior walls and ceilings
  • Perform layout based on blueprints and project specifications
  • Hang, secure, and finish drywall panels
  • Install insulation and assist with acoustical ceiling systems
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lifts
  • Ensure work meets quality standards and project timelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures
  • Assist Foreman with daily tasks and crew coordination
  • Support and guide Apprentices in developing trade skills
